Dr. Stephen T. Haley is a biotechnology commercialization leader and scientific advisor with a track record of transforming early-stage innovation into sustainable commercial success. With over 20 years of experience spanning immunology, diagnostics, therapeutic platforms, and life sciences tools, he now offers strategic consulting services to organizations seeking to navigate complex product lifecycles, market entry, partnerships, and scale-up.

Stephen holds a PhD in Immunology, with early research experience at the University of Miami, New York University and the Dodson Institute for Immunotherapy. He transitioned into industry roles that combined science with business development, including at Beckman Coulter, where he led commercial growth in immunoassays and flow cytometry platforms.

At Immudex, Stephen founded and built the U.S. subsidiary from the ground up, forming the entity as a Virginia LLC. He was the first commercial employee and led every aspect of the U.S. operation: hiring accountants and attorneys, registering the FDA facility, leasing space, setting up insurance, and handling international logistics such as importing reagents into the U.S. and Canada. He led the commercial team, hiring, training, and coaching a high-performing sales force. He initiated and executed strategic partnerships with 10x Genomics and BD, gave over 100 presentations worldwide across North America, EU and Asia. He also managed collections and financial operations as required.

Stephen is a recognized thought leader in immunology and biomarker science. He has served on numerous expert panels, including the Immune Epitope Database (IEDB) expert committee, and participated in key global events.

Since 2015, Stephen has served on the Board of Directors of the Translational Cancer Center Consortium. His leadership blends deep scientific knowledge with practical, high-impact commercial strategy—enabling biotech companies to accelerate innovation, build strategic partnerships, and scale globally.
